Synopsis

I’ve been hesistant to write much here because I’m participating in NaNoWriMo and it seems that every time I feel compelled to write anything un-novelicious I feel a twinge of guilt — that I should be contributing to my word count (50,000 by November 30!) instead.
You might be wondering what my novel is about. I’d tell you, but I really have no idea. But think “satire.” So I’ve just written up a synopsis — right here, just now — to get the creative juices moving.
*clearing throat*
*knuckles cracking*
In a world shrouded by secrets, love can’t exist without betrayal. Weddings don’t exist without loss. Fear is disguised as bliss, and the oppressed and abused are forced to remain hauntingly silent — until one woman rises up to lead the rebellion that changes everything. In the process, she discovers an entirely different world beneath the surface: a world of secret organizations, codenames, corruption, authoritarian power and espionage. A world that she helps to define. A world that she has the power to change. With polyester.

Oh, I want to know this woman already!!! ;)
Excellent start my dear! I hope that by building your character sets and outlining your story you’re ready to turn out some serious wordage, because I’m already ready to purchase a copy! *HUG*

Oooh, very cool! That sounds like a great story.
I’m doing NaNoWriMo too. My wordcount is similar to yours, but I think I may be able to get back on schedule this weekend.
You have my admiration and support. Best of luck!
